Lead Embedded Electrical Engineer (IoT)

What you will do

• Architect the electrical sub-systems for new IoT products from concept to production.
• Design custom PCBAs, performing complex layout, high-speed signal integrity, and PDN analysis.
• Personally handle hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to transition designs into mass production.
• Work closely with Software, Hardware, and Product Design teams to deliver full-service client solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in embedded systems design.
• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Expert-level proficiency in Altium for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Test) principles.
• Experience with power supply design (AC/DC, DC/DC) and low-power battery-operated systems.
• Must have a valid US work permit; no visa sponsorship is provided.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of signal processing and sensor interfacing techniques.
• Experience designing for hazardous or harsh environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud).
• Experience with embedded security, including secure boot and encryption.
