AI Mobile QA Engineer

Location: Remote across Germany, with offices in Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich

hirify.global is building an integrated renewable-energy system connecting solar, batteries, heat pumps, and e-mobility through software and a virtual power plant.

What you will do

• Own the quality strategy and testing architecture for Flutter mobile applications.
• Partner with mobile product teams to improve quality practices, close testing gaps, and enable confident releases.
• Grow and maintain automated test coverage with Appium and BrowserStack, focusing on critical user journeys.
• Improve test infrastructure health by reducing flakiness, accelerating test runs, and delivering actionable results.
• Build autonomous exploration, intelligent test orchestration, and self-directed testing workflows using AI.
• Integrate quality signals into development and production monitoring processes.

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing scalable QA strategies and mobile automation with Appium and Flutter integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with cloud device farms, especially BrowserStack.
• Practical experience with AI tools, LLM workflows, testing agents, autonomous exploration, test generation, and defect analysis.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions.
• Strong focus on user journeys, edge cases, product risks, and quality ownership beyond code coverage.
• Strong English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Experience with energy systems, IoT, or climate technology.
• Native iOS or Android experience, or deep Flutter and Dart architecture knowledge.
• Experience navigating ambiguity or building testing tools from scratch.
