What you will do

• Manage inbound calls, social media, and text inquiries using approved scripts and FAQs to provide community referrals.
• Deliver accurate, culturally, and linguistically responsive information to users while ensuring strict data protection.
• Conduct regular in-person outreach events at local nonprofits, resource fairs, and community-based initiatives.
• Implement and maintain the program's service map on the website using the Zendesk platform.
• Identify and vet new community resources to ensure they meet standards for multilingual support and trauma-informed approaches.
• Document all service interactions in Zendesk for quality assurance and reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Must be an internal candidate based in IRC Spokane or Seattle offices.
• High school diploma required; degree in social services, human services, or communications preferred.
• 2-3 years of professional experience, including at least one year in case management with asylum seekers, migrants, or refugees.
• Proficiency in English and at least one additional language commonly spoken in Washington immigrant communities (e.g., Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, Arabic, etc.).
• Experience with digital tools such as Zendesk or similar ticketing/call systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality, data privacy, and cultural humility.
