What you will do

• Build and maintain services powering 270/271 benefit estimate requests and responses.
• Develop and support performant, large-scale claims adjudication integrations.
• Own and improve claims processing pipelines for accuracy, reliability, and throughput.
• Write performant queries and manage data across PostgreSQL, Redis, and BigQuery.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate complex healthcare workflows into reliable services.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and incident response.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and maintaining backend services.
• 2+ years of professional experience writing Go.
• Strong SQL skills, particularly with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Redis and analytical databases like BigQuery.
• Proficiency in designing and building RESTful or gRPC APIs.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare EDI or 270/271 transactions.
• Background in health insurance or claims processing.
• Proficiency in Python and Terraform.
• Experience with incident management and response.
