Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with two office days each week

What you will do

• Build an AI engineering team in Warsaw by hiring engineers with the required capabilities and mindset.
• Coach and mentor engineers, developing their competencies and capabilities.
• Act as servant leader and Scrum Master for one or two smaller teams working on AI initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Management, and UX to define and deliver customer outcomes.
• Help teams set business goals through the OKR framework and improve agile processes.
• Define engineering metrics, improve software delivery quality, and foster psychological safety and innovation.

Requirements

• Modern leadership mindset focused on motivating and empowering engineers to take ownership of their work and business outcomes.
• Experience with engineering recruitment and building cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical foundation and experience in product development, including engineering and Scrum Master or agile coach responsibilities.
• Experience working in a global company with distributed teams, ideally in the financial sector.
• Experience with AI, vibe coding, or agentic workflows.
• Professional English is required; the application must be submitted in English.
