What you will do

• Own the design, buildout, and strategic priorities for cloud and data security engineering.
• Collaborate with internal teams to automate security guardrails within development workflows.
• Develop controls for validating secure access to sensitive data.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure security is understood and owned across the organization.
• Implement policy-as-code and integrate security tooling into CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code processes.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Demonstrated ability to drive complex, cross-team security projects.
• Foundational knowledge of cloud security including threat modeling, IAM, networking, and encryption.
• Experience with cloud security tooling such as CNAPP, CSPM, DSPM, CIEM, or SSPM.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, Go, or Bash.
• Experience securing containerized workloads on Kubernetes and handling regulated data like HIPAA.
