Fullstack Engineer (Java & Angular)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (Java & Angular): Developing software solutions for various international partners with an accent on scalable backend logic and modern frontend interfaces. Focus on integrating Spring Boot services with Angular applications and optimizing Oracle SQL database performance.

Location: Hybrid (2x/week) based in Porto, Portugal. Candidates must be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Angular 2+.
• Implement server-side logic and data persistence using Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Manage and optimize SQL databases, specifically Oracle.
• Maintain version control using Git and collaborate via Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Utilize CI/CD tools including Jenkins, XL Deploy, and XL Release for deployment.

Requirements

• Degree in Technology, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
• 4+ years of professional experience with Java and object-oriented programming.
• 2+ years of relevant experience with Spring Boot and Angular 2+.
• Proven experience with SQL databases (Oracle preferred).
• English: B2 level or above is mandatory.
• Availability to work in a hybrid regime in Porto and travel abroad for short periods.

Nice to have

• Programming experience with Python.
• Knowledge of OpenShift, JSF, and PrimeNG.
• Experience with REST web services.
• French fluency (B2 level or above).
