Fullstack Engineer (Java & Angular)

Location: Hybrid, based in Porto, Portugal, with on-site attendance twice per week. Candidates must be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit. Availability to travel abroad for short periods is required.

What you will do

• Develop full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular 2+, JPA, Hibernate, and SQL databases.
• Build and integrate web services and work with Oracle-based data solutions.
• Use Git and continuous integration and deployment tooling, including Jenkins, XL Deploy, and XL Release.
• Collaborate within Agile delivery environments using Scrum or Kanban and Jira.
• Travel abroad for short periods when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Technology, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 4 years of professional experience using Java and object-oriented programming languages.
• Experience with JPA and Hibernate.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience with Spring Boot.
• At least 2 years of experience with Angular 2+.
• Experience with SQL databases, preferably Oracle, and Git.
• Knowledge of continuous integration using Jenkins, XL Deploy, and XL Release.
• English fluency at B2 level or above.
• Availability for a hybrid regime twice per week in Porto and eligibility to work in Portugal through Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

Nice to have

• Programming experience with Python.
• Knowledge of OpenShift, JSF, PrimeNG, and REST web services.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools, including Scrum, Kanban, and Jira.
• French fluency at B2 level or above.
