Senior Java Fullstack Developer – Backend Focus

Location: Lisbon, hybrid; candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

Salary: EUR 4,410–5,250 for B2B or EUR 2,300–2,650 net under a permanent contract.

What you will do

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable Java applications aligned with client requirements.
• Build REST APIs using Spring, Swagger, and related technologies.
• Integrate microservices and Docker with OpenShift/Kubernetes in CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support robust system operation.
• Contribute to architecture, coding, testing, deployment best practices, code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Work with cross-functional teams and clients to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of full stack development experience with a focus on backend Java technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, and REST API design.
• Hands-on experience with Angular 2+.
• Familiarity with Maven, Git, Sonar, and VeraCode.
• Experience with Jenkins, Docker, and OpenShift/Kubernetes in CI/CD environments.
• Proficiency in core Java, multithreading, OOP, and microservices architecture.
• Teamwork, flexibility, strong customer focus, and technical expertise.
• Fluent English.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Nice to have

• Experience with Swagger documentation and automation.
• Certifications or additional skills in cloud infrastructure or microservices architecture.
