Senior Angular/Java Developer - WatchList (Credit Risk)

Location: Porto, hybrid; candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Salary: €4,410–€5,250 per month on B2B contract, or €2,300–€2,600 net per month on a permanent contract.

Work for a leading banking group as part of an extended Porto/Paris team within the IT Risk department, specifically Credit Risk.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend features for the WatchList application using Angular.
• Contribute to backend development and integration using Java and Spring.
• Collaborate with the extended Porto/Paris team to deliver features in the Credit Risk domain.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
• Use Git and Maven for version control and build management.
• Support continuous integration pipelines and troubleshoot full-stack technical issues, including SQL-related functionality.

Requirements

• Degree in Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience with Java and object-oriented programming.
• 3–6 years of strong Angular experience in a full-stack role with a frontend focus.
• Good understanding of Spring Core and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven, and SQL.
• Familiarity with XL Deploy, XL Release, and Jenkins for continuous integration.
• Fluent English.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union.
