Mid-Level Java & Angular Fullstack Developer (Banking/IT Risks)

Location: Porto, Portugal — hybrid work. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain full-stack features using Java/Spring and Angular 2+.
• Build and integrate RESTful web services and API components.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with XL Deploy, XL Release, and Jenkins.
• Use Git and Maven for version control and build management.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, migration, optimization, and documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and collaborate on new functionality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience, particularly with Java and Angular.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring, including Spring Core and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with Angular 2+ and frontend development.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Fluent English and an existing legal right to work in the European Union are required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apache Kafka and Apache Spark.
• Experience in banking or financial services.
• Certifications related to Java, Angular, or cloud technologies.
