Mid Application Support Engineer

What you will do

• Perform system administration across both Linux and Windows environments.
• Manage application scheduling using BMC/Control-M or other industrial schedulers.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Shell, Python, and PowerShell.
• Administer and support JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, or IIS servers.
• Manage databases (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL) and perform basic SQL tasks.
• Monitor infrastructure health using tools like Zabbix and Grafana.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in application support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows systems administration.
• Experience with industrial schedulers, infrastructure backups, and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of LDAP, Firewall, Reverse proxy, Active Directory, and Kerberos.
• English: Minimum B2 level required.
• Must be based in Portugal or possess a valid Portuguese work permit/EU citizenship.
