TL;DR
Senior AWS Database Administrator: Building and optimizing database infrastructure on AWS with an accent on RDS, Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redshift. Focus on performance tuning, query optimization, and workload management for high-load systems.
Location: Hybrid (Porto, Portugal), 3 times a week

What you will do
- Administer and manage AWS database services including RDS, Aurora, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Implement and manage Redshift installations and configurations.
- Optimize database performance and query efficiency.
- Oversee and manage database workloads.
Requirements
- Over 5 years working as a Database Administrator with AWS RDS and Aurora, PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Experience handling Redshift installation and setup.
- Strong background in performance tuning.
- Ability to optimize queries.
- Workload management expertise.
- English at least B2 level.
- Availability for hybrid module, 3 times a week.
Nice to have
- Practical use of S3.
- Familiarity with IAM configuration.
- Experience building with Lambda.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting using CloudWatch.
