What you will do

• Oversee the full lifecycle of regional and on-demand professional development events from inception to execution.
• Manage event logistics, including venue procurement, audio-visual planning, and third-party vendor negotiations.
• Monitor event budgets, process invoices, and maintain accurate financial reporting in CRM systems.
• Serve as the primary on-site leader for face-to-face and virtual events, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Develop communication plans for stakeholders, including workshop leaders, venues, and participants.
• Mentor and train team members on industry best practices and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in event planning and delivery.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Demonstrated experience in vendor negotiation, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time, typically over weekends.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Spanish or French.
• Experience with Salesforce, C-vent, or other EMS platforms.
• Experience as a Zoom Superuser.
