What you will do

• Develop and maintain hirify.global network server modules and the proprietary Bolt binary protocol.
• Design and implement new features and improvements for drivers and their respective APIs.
• Influence the strategic direction of hirify.global connectivity in collaboration with product managers.
• Perform network packet analysis using tools like Wireshark to optimize system performance.
• Contribute to the developer community through blog posts, training, and support for community projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of practical experience with Java, its platform, and ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of network concepts and binary protocol specifications.
• Experience in distributed system design and API design.
• Proficiency in concurrency and asynchronous programming.
• Must be based in or able to work from Malmö, Sweden (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience with Netty.
• Knowledge of Database Management Systems or Graph Databases.
• Experience with Docker or system-oriented languages (C, C++, Rust, or Go).
• Familiarity with Java Web Development Specifications (JAX-RS).
