Location: Remote (Germany, Spain, Ireland, UK, or Sweden)

Salary: €97,000 - €121,000 (base compensation range in Germany)

What you will do

• Influence roadmap and drive delivery of new features from ideation to customer operations.
• Design, build, operate, and maintain telemetry database systems with ownership of reliability, performance, and availability.
• Iterate on delivered results to improve systems and customer outcomes.
• Contribute to open-source projects beyond the immediate team scope.
• Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you run.
• Collaborate in a fully remote setup and support teammates through design discussions.

Requirements

• Solid experience with at least one programming language (Go preferred; Python, C, C++, Rust or similar is acceptable).
• Experience delivering projects end-to-end from requirements gathering to shipping to customers.
• Experience developing cloud-running software or systems engineering experience.
• Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that others can maintain.
• Applicants must be based in Spain, Ireland, Germany, the UK, or Sweden.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker.
• Hands-on experience with Grafana and Prometheus in operational roles (including on-call) or via homelab.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with SRE/operations and infrastructure as code.
