Job Purpose
Highly experienced and skilled Senior Technology & Infrastructure Architecture Specialist to join our forward-thinking team in the automobile manufacturing sector. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in designing and implementing Technology & Infrastructure Architecture in a hybrid environment (on-premises and cloud).

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies
Education:
-Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
-TOGAF certified in Enterprise Architecture is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in solution architecture across web, mobile, and enterprise application landscapes. Advanced knowledge in some of the virtualization technologies and platforms
- Experience in implementing infrastructure in accordance with modern information security requirements for manufacturing companies
- OT/IT Convergence: Bridging manufacturing shop floor (SCADA/PLC) with standard IT.
- Connected Vehicle Platforms: Architecture for telematics and over-the-air (OTA) updates.
- IoT Infrastructure: Managing massive data ingestion from shopfloor equipment and connected cars.
- High-Performance Computing (HPC): Infrastructure supporting autonomous driving simulations.
- Hybrid Integration: Connecting on-premises facilities to cloud environments.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Minimum 2 years within the automotive or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Extensive experience with Cloud Platforms.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing IT strategies and IT Enterprise Architecture management process.
- Experience in serving on Architecture Review Boards (ARB) to evaluate and approve project designs.
- Experience in defining corporate hardware, operating system, and networking standards across global sites.
- Experience in managing infrastructure spread across multiple geographic regions.
- Advanced knowledge of virtualization technologies and platforms.
-SAP LeanIX experience is an advantage

Key Accountabilities

IT Architecture management
• Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure IT architectures in a hybrid environment.
• Develop and evaluate infrastructure and information security solutions. The applicant is responsible for presenting solutions to the ARB.
• Deploy and manage enterprise EA repository LeanIX.
Strategic Roadmapping & Standard Setting
• Target Architecture: Define the 3-to-5-year infrastructure vision for cloud, edge, and on-premises environments.
• Tech Standards: Manage the corporate standards of hardware, operating systems, and platforms.
• Lifecycle Management: Monitor and plan the decommissioning of obsolete tech to eliminate technical debt.
• Innovation Scouting: Evaluate emerging tech like AI hardware and quantum computing for automotive use cases.
Governance & Alignment
• Design Reviews: Vote on the Architecture Review Board to ensure projects match enterprise standards.
• Reference Architectures: Author reusable blueprints for common deployments.
• Work closely with Information security department to design solutions that meet business and information security requirements
Cross-Domain Integration
• OT/IT Convergence: Partner with manufacturing teams to securely connect shop-floor systems to corporate networks.
• Connected Car Platform: Collaborate with other teams to align vehicle cloud backends with corporate infrastructure.
• Vendor Ecosystems: Coordinate with major cloud, hardware, and network providers to optimize global design patterns.
