What you will do

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to run discovery and translate ambiguous requirements into clear functional and non‑functional specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers to produce detailed roadmaps and define observability requirements including metrics, logs, and traces.
• Shape and document target-state and integration architectures aligned with industry best practices.
• Design and develop proofs of concept to validate solutions for future services.
• Participate in design reviews and architecture review boards to ensure delivery and governance.

Requirements

• Experience designing or implementing distributed system architectures.
• Proven track record as a technical architect or technical lead.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience working within an agile methodology.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in London, UK

Nice to have

• Architecture-related qualifications such as TOGAF.
• Knowledge of software engineering technologies like Java or C#.
