What you will do

• Own and evolve SLI/SLO and error-budget frameworks to influence product prioritization and decisions.
• Lead incident response, drive postmortems, and implement systemic fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Build and maintain comprehensive observability using Datadog across metrics, logs, and traces.
• Design and operate scalable infrastructure using Terraform and manage production Kubernetes workloads.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and integrate security controls (SAST, DAST, SCA) within GitHub Actions.
• Implement policy-as-code using Kyverno, OPA/Rego, or Conftest to enforce infrastructure safety.

Requirements

• 5+ years in site reliability, platform, or infrastructure engineering with senior-level ownership.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or TypeScript for building custom automation tooling.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Proven track record leading incident response and building SLO-driven reliability practices.
• Practical experience integrating security tooling and dependency scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in the United States (confirmed by E-Verify and US-specific benefits).

Nice to have

• Experience with policy-as-code frameworks enforced at admission time.
• Exposure to regulated environments such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, or HIPAA.
• Experience with chaos engineering or game-day scenarios.
• Experience supporting high-traffic B2C mobile backend environments.
