What you will do

• Support the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and operational plans across multiple business areas.
• Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and revision of forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Perform detailed financial analysis on sales trends, product profitability, and actual vs budget variances.
• Prepare monthly management reports for local and European finance teams.
• Manage month-end closing processes, financial controls, and intercompany transaction reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams as a finance business partner to support business growth.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Relevant experience in finance, controlling, or accounting roles, preferably within publishing or media.
• Solid understanding of local GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP SAP S/4HANA.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Must be based in Madrid to support the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate studies in a relevant field.
• Experience with reporting/planning tools such as HFM, Anaplan, or JDE.
