What you will do

• Develop, iterate, and productionize machine learning models to predict sports outcomes.
• Manage and mentor a group of data scientists to solve company-wide challenges.
• Optimize pricing techniques and improve the betting product range.
• Build robust predictive models, dashboards, and data visualizations for stakeholders.
• Oversee the data preparation process from collection through cleaning.
• Collaborate with product and risk teams to drive actionable insights and optimize pricing.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in data science, analytics, or engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in a numerate major such as Math, Stats, or Economics.
• Proven experience managing or mentoring other data scientists or analysts.
• High proficiency in Python or R, and SQL.
• Strong understanding and application of Bayesian statistics.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in New York City, USA.
