What you will do

• Lead the overall medical operations strategy and implementation for virtual care delivery, including remote consultations and patient assessments.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to managers overseeing clinical standards and veterinary professional development.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive virtual medical management plan aligned with organizational goals.
• Coordinate the optimization of SOPs, workflows, and governance to enable consistent and high-quality care delivery.
• Partner with Workforce Management to inform staffing strategies and capacity planning.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory considerations, and new technologies to drive innovation and growth.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent in good standing.
• Minimum 10 years of clinical practice experience.
• 8+ years of progressive leadership background in veterinary medicine or related service organizations.
• 5+ years of experience leading managers and high-performing veterinary teams.
• Strong understanding of quality management, clinical operations, and performance metrics.
• Must be based in the US and available for approximately 25% travel.

Nice to have

• Experience in veterinary telemedicine or technology-enabled healthcare services.
• Board certification in a recognized veterinary specialty.
• Experience managing geographically distributed or remote teams.
