Production Assistant (Animation)

TL;DR

Production Assistant (Animation): Supporting the Line Producer and Production Manager in the daily administrative operations of animation production with an accent on scheduling, documentation, and material coordination. Focus on maintaining efficient production workflows, managing communication between departments, and preparing assets for overseas studios.

Location: Must be based in Glendale, California. This position is hybrid, requiring office attendance a minimum of four days per week.

Salary: $55,900 – $65,000 per year.

What you will do

• Schedule meetings and maintain calendars for the production team.
• Take and distribute meeting notes in a timely manner.
• Organize storyboards and designs on the server.
• Prepare animation materials for overseas studios.
• Coordinate employee moves and manage timecard collection.
• Assist in the preparation of screenings and shipments.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Glendale, California.
• Proficiency in Gmail suite and Microsoft suite.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive problem-solving attitude.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Previous internship or experience in CG animation production.
• Knowledge of Shotgrid and Photoshop.
• Bachelor’s degree.
