Senior Technical Producer (Gamedev)

Location: Remote (Must be able to work core hours 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST)

What you will do

• Triage, prioritize, and assign technical tasks across the engineering department.
• Coordinate daily with the CTO and Live Ops Lead to ensure programmers are briefed and operating at maximum efficiency.
• Proactively resolve inefficiencies and blockages within the engineering department and cross-departmentally.
• Own the release management pipeline, including writing timelines, creating release cards, and tracking issues.
• Participate in gameplay reviews to ensure technical implementations translate effectively to the player experience.
• Drive full occupancy of engineers' time to maximize the volume of completed tasks toward major deliverables.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an engineer with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a technical producer with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
• High-level technical understanding of complex programming combined with strong managerial skills.
• Ability to work core hours of 10:00 AM PST to 5:00 PM PST.
• Willingness to be on-call for live issue firefighting and to crunch around critical shipping periods.

Nice to have

• Shipped titles credited as a Technical Producer, Lead Engineer, or similar hybrid role.
• Deep experience with Jira, Perforce, and modern release management tools.
• Familiarity with the ARK franchise (Survival Evolved / Survival Ascended).
