What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers while driving their professional development.
• Own the technical strategy and roadmap for the data platform, focusing on modernization and resource efficiency.
• Collaborate with product and security teams to define data models, schemas, and analytics architecture.
• Partner with detection engineering to ensure data quality and reliability for threat-detection workflows.
• Champion the adoption of AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
• Manage production support, incident response, and on-call coverage for the data platform.

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering management experience leading effective teams.
• Cybersecurity or SOC domain experience is required.
• Strong technical background in distributed data systems.
• Hands-on experience with Elastic Stack, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and dbt.
• Heavy familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Rust experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Agile methodologies in cross-functional product teams.
