What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain production applications, services, and datastores.
• Deploy and monitor secure and reliable cloud infrastructure for Production workflows.
• Manage the migration of legacy on-prem services to cloud-based infrastructure.
• Collaborate with pipeline engineers and stakeholders to create scalable solutions from PoC to deployment.
• Implement all infrastructure changes using an IaC (Infrastructure as Code) workflow.
• Optimize cloud service architecture and monitor resource utilization.

Requirements

• Must be based in Burbank, CA for onsite work.
• 8+ years of experience developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in GCP (required), Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based deployments.
• Strong experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CDK, or Pulumi.
• Expertise in Linux, Windows, and MacOS.
• Experience with industry-standard CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) and APM tools (Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog).

Nice to have

• Experience with VFX, Post-Production, and Animation pipelines.
• Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification.
• Knowledge of Flow Production Tracking (ShotGrid), Deadline, or Rez package management.
• Experience with Hybrid On-Prem/Cloud Infrastructure.
