What you will do

• Own, operate, and improve the FedRAMP cloud environment to ensure high security and compliance standards.
• Design and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Drive the automation of security controls and operational processes using DevSecOps practices.
• Lead incident response capabilities, including detection, investigation, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
• Manage and tune security tooling such as SIEM, EDR, and CNAPP.
• Collaborate with SRE and engineering teams to guide secure architecture decisions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing and securing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience working with FedRAMP and SOC 2 requirements.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and container security.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu, Terragrunt, Ansible).
• Deep understanding of IAM, network security, and cloud-native incident response.
• Must be based in the US to support a hybrid work model in Boston.

Nice to have

• Experience securing Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Python or Golang.
• Knowledge of CIS Benchmarks, NIST, and ISO 27001.
