What you will do

• Design and implement robust security controls across AWS environments, including IAM, SCPs, VPC security, and S3 policies.
• Manage security configurations as code using Terraform to ensure integrated cloud deployments.
• Implement and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated security testing and scanning of AWS resources.
• Monitor and tune cloud security posture using GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS WAF, and CloudTrail.
• Enforce IAM best practices, including least privilege and automated remediation of deficiencies.
• Lead security incident management and conduct architecture reviews to mitigate vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in securing AWS environments and 5+ years of general cybersecurity experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform and GitLab CI/CD strategies.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a criminal background check.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent military service.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Security - Specialty certification.
• CISSP or other relevant security certifications.
• U.S. Government Security Clearance.
