What you will do

• Manage and coach a team of 5+ software engineers, overseeing performance and professional growth.
• Collaborate with Product, Delivery, and Technical leads to align execution plans and roadmaps.
• Own the technical health, design, and deliverables of the team's products.
• Drive the interviewing and onboarding process for new engineering hires.
• Participate in the codebase through code reviews and non-critical technical tasks.
• Operate live services, ensuring reliability and handling on-call troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, specifically on product teams building APIs and services.
• 2+ years of experience leading an engineering team as a Manager or Technical Lead.
• Proven track record of recruiting candidates and developing engineering talent.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and high-scale software.
• Experience operating and maintaining live services with on-call responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Go.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with MySQL, Redis, and stream-processing platforms like Kafka.
