What you will do

• Collect, review, and file quality assurance data accurately.
• Grade products according to customer specifications and plant procedures.
• Identify quality trends and communicate findings to operators and supervisors.
• Train new lab technicians and back-ups.
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Participate in safety programs and perform risk assessments.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Hermiston, OR
• English proficiency required for communication and following instructions
• Ability to use lab equipment such as blenders, scales, and dicromats
• Basic mathematical skills including fractions and decimals
• Ability to lift up to 36 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to work in a noisy, temperature-varying environment
