Internal Audit Manager

Location: Hybrid (Sydney, NSW); requires 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

What you will do

• Plan, execute, and report on audits of financial and operational functions across the full audit lifecycle.
• Review business processes to ascertain the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Identify weaknesses in internal controls and collaborate with management to develop practical operational improvements.
• Execute audit work using the established IA Methodology, ensuring timely closure of all identified points.
• Prepare audit reports as lead auditor and ensure findings are agreed upon with management prior to release.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Revenue Assurance, Fraud) and group colleagues in Singapore on joint audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk management, preferably from a Big 4 firm or a large organization.
• Professional certifications such as CA/CPA; CIA qualification is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to evaluate complex control environments.
• Must be based in Sydney, NSW to accommodate the hybrid work model.
