Salary: USD 170,000–210,000 yearly

What you will do

• Expand and manage CNBC’s Wall Street coverage across deals, finance, and banking.
• Hire and lead reporters to deliver major scoops and enterprise stories.
• Launch and grow an initiative focused on deals, dealmakers, and deal analysis.
• Develop strategies to engage readers and broaden CNBC’s digital and television audiences.
• Generate strong analytical stories about key financial events.
• Coordinate coverage between television and digital to dominate reporting on deals and finance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience editing and managing for a major business publication.
• 3+ years building and managing reporting teams that deliver significant scoops.
• Ability to edit complicated stories for a broad audience.
• Strong understanding of finance and deals, with the ability to prioritize coverage.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
