What you will do

• Serve as the primary system administrator for the DAM platform, managing user roles, permissions, and integrations.
• Maintain and evolve metadata schemas, controlled vocabularies, and taxonomy frameworks to ensure consistent asset cataloging.
• Enforce governance policies including asset lifecycle management, rights tracking, and copyright attribution in partnership with legal teams.
• Develop onboarding materials and training programs to drive platform adoption across internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with vendors on upgrades and feature releases.
• Track and report on DAM usage metrics to inform strategic improvements and identify production gaps.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing a DAM platform in a corporate or agency environment.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing metadata schemas and taxonomy frameworks.
• Proficiency with DAM platform administration, configuration, and API integrations.
• Strong understanding of digital rights management and file format best practices.
• Ability to manage large-scale digital asset libraries across diverse file types.

Nice to have

• DAM or information management certifications.
• Experience with Optimizely CMP/DAM or comparable enterprise platforms like Bynder, Widen, or Canto.
• Familiarity with digital rights management (DRM) tools.
• Experience supporting CMP and CMS-connected workflows.
• Exposure to stock licensing compliance and AI-generated asset tracking.
