What you will do

• Architect and own the enterprise AI data platform as the unified, governed layer for all AI systems across the organization.
• Design multi-domain data models (lakehouse, data mesh, event-driven) optimized for AI workloads with clean lineage and versioned schemas.
• Build RAG-based retrieval infrastructure, including embedding pipelines, vector stores, and hybrid retrieval layers.
• Establish an observability stack to capture AI agent behavior, reasoning traces, and output accuracy to create complete audit trails.
• Define reference architectures, data contracts, and engineering standards for CI/CD, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Modernize legacy on-prem ETL and batch DWH pipelines into cloud-native, AI-ready architectures.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture, including building production AI/ML and LLM-era infrastructure.
• Expertise with Snowflake or Databricks, and AWS services (S3, Glue, EKS, Bedrock, Kinesis, Redshift).
• Proficiency in designing and writing ETL processes in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with vector stores (Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, OpenSearch) and knowledge graphs (Neo4j).
• Working knowledge of LLMOps, including model serving pipelines, MLflow, and automated evaluation.
• Must be based in the United States.
