Location: Must be based in Texas, USA

Salary: $180,000 – $247,500 USD

What you will do

• Partner with sales teams to demonstrate the value of Databricks for solving complex business problems.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for public sector customers evaluating the platform.
• Consult on big data architecture and implement proof of concepts for strategic projects.
• Build and present reference architectures, demos, and technical content for developer communities.
• Validate integrations with cloud services and third-party applications.
• Travel to customer sites within the assigned region.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting.
• US Citizen required.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in at least one of: Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.
• Experience supporting Public Sector clients.
• Proven experience building solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
