Manufacturing Engineer (Life Sciences)

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes, routings, procedures, testing methods, and standard work.
• Design and implement fixtures, jigs, tooling, and other manufacturing solutions to improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives focused on process variation, waste reduction, equipment reliability, and cell design.
• Investigate process breakdowns, equipment malfunctions, product nonconformances, and material disposition issues, implementing sustainable corrective actions.
• Support new product introduction by transferring products from development into manufacturing and ensuring production readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Process, or another Engineering discipline.
• At least two years of professional experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of production control and ERP systems.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools and methodologies such as Standard Work, SMED, TPM, and 5S.
• Experience improving processes, fixtures, jigs, and tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience in electronics and machine maintenance.
• Experience leading technical projects.
• Ability to view and manipulate CAD drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
