Graduate Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Leeds, England, United Kingdom; hybrid working with 2/3 days per week on site at the Leeds Head Office. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: £30,000 per annum, plus a bonus of up to £2,000 per annum.

What you will do

• Support customer value, segmentation, predictive, statistical, and machine learning models.
• Analyse customer, sales, pricing, and operational data to identify trends and commercial opportunities.
• Design, build, test, and deploy analytical and machine learning models.
• Develop dashboards, visualisations, and reporting solutions that communicate insights effectively.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and business challenges.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences while contributing to data quality and reporting improvements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Science or a closely related subject, such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Analytics.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data modelling, and machine learning concepts.
• Academic, internship, or personal project experience with Python and/or R.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organisation, and collaboration skills.
• Existing right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of predictive modelling, customer analytics, or commercial analytics.
• Experience applying machine learning through university projects or internships.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
