Senior Cyber Security Analyst (Cyber Operations): Acting as a senior escalation point for complex security incidents and threat investigations within a robust security ecosystem with an accent on EDR, SIEM, and cloud-native security environments. Location: Must be based in the UK with a hybrid requirement of 2 days per week in the Osterley office.

What you will do

• Act as an escalation point for L2 Analysts for complex cyber security events and incidents.
• Perform timely and accurate investigations with a focus on remediation and closure.
• Liaise with Security Platform teams and L3 Analysts to drive automation improvements.
• Coordinate high-profile incidents spanning multiple regions (UK, Italy, Germany).
• Review log sources and internal security systems to build comprehensive case files.
• Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours high-priority incidents.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
• Deep expertise in Security Operations and complex Incident Response scenarios.
• Advanced proficiency in EDR systems and SIEM architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of OS internals (Windows, macOS, Linux) and cloud-native security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking protocols and infrastructure security.
• Exceptional communication skills for articulating security events to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience leveraging SOAR platforms for security operations.
• Knowledge of User Behaviour Analytics (UBA) and anomaly detection.
• Understanding of offensive security methodologies, reverse engineering, or penetration testing.
• Industry certifications such as SANS GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, or OSCP.
