Location: Hybrid (4 days on-site in Reading, 1 day remote). Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain required DV Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Respond to immediate complex security threats as part of the Cyber Security Monitoring and Response team.
• Operate within a Security Operation Centre (SOC) environment to protect critical infrastructure.
• Perform initial triage on security alerts and incidents.
• Develop and continuously improve security procedures.
• Detect and analyze cybersecurity incidents using cutting-edge technology and defined processes.

Requirements

• DV Security Clearance is required (Candidates must have lived in the UK for 10+ years).
• Proven experience in threat hunting and incident response.
• Proficiency in cyber threat intelligence and decisive decision-making.
• Ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
• Experience working in IT/IP network-based environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with toolsets such as Elastic/Kibana, Darktrace, or Microsoft Sentinel/Defender.
• Relevant certifications: CompTIA Network+, Security+, CSA+, and/or CEH.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced operational security or customer-facing environment.
