What you will do

• Program lathes using CAMWorks and SolidWorks while establishing machine speeds and feed rates.
• Develop and maintain setup sheets, process sheets, and tooling lists for machining centers.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve productivity and safety.
• Serve as a resource for capital projects, including preparing appropriation requests and managing machine tool requisitions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and hourly operators to instruct on production methods and procedures.
• Analyze drawings and design data to determine optimal configuration of cuts and manufacturing sequences.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Milwaukee, WI.
• Proficiency in lathe programming using CAMWorks and SolidWorks.
• Experience with machine controls such as Fanuc or Siemens.
• Ability to read and interpret complex product design drawings and specifications.
• Experience with PFMEA, routing operation sequences, and cost estimation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
