What you will do
- Measure, analyze, and debug workloads to identify and close power and performance gaps.
- Conduct rail-by-rail SoC/CPU and platform power analysis and debug issues.
- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to align on PnP projections and measurements.
- Develop power and performance estimates for future products to guide marketing and KPI settings.
- Create and publish Power Performance Guide (PPG) collateral for OEM customers.
- Set up and calibrate full test platforms for SoC measurements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with 4+ years of experience (or Master's with 3+ years).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a post-silicon environment, system architecture, or CPU micro-architecture.
- Must be based in or able to work on-site in Santa Clara, California.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of x86 CPU micro-architecture.
- Experience with industry benchmarks (e.g., SPEC CPU, Cinebench, Geekbench, MobileMark, 3DMark).
- Familiarity with ITP/JTAG scripts and power measurements using DAQ.
- Prior experience with or other CPU products in a post-silicon engineering environment.
