Customer Application Engineer (Semiconductors)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite work in the MPS San Jose office

Base salary: $100,000–$140,000 annually, depending on market location, experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Support power management ICs, standalone converters, and digital interface converters for memory and DIMM customers.
• Communicate with memory customers to understand their technology, product roadmaps, production plans, questions, and requirements.
• Plan and track actions to resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with design, quality, package, and failure analysis teams to address customer needs.
• Drive customer satisfaction and secure design-ins for MPS products.

Requirements

• Previous customer communication and technical support experience is highly desired.
• Experience as an application engineer or technical field application engineer is preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated approach and a strong focus on achieving product design-in success.
• BSEE or higher is required.
