About the Role

You will lead and develop a cybersecurity research team, providing technical and managerial direction across security disciplines. You will partner with Product, Security Operations, Engineering, and other stakeholders to shape the threat operations roadmap. You will identify operational risks, coach researchers, and design responsible AI-enabled workflows that improve research quality, speed, and measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience leading cybersecurity teams with diverse skills and backgrounds
• Experience in at least one area of security research and development
• Ability to attract, hire, and grow a cybersecurity team
• Ability to operate independently, make decisions, take action, and remain accountable for outcomes
• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts effectively
• Experience using AI through workflow design, coaching, and outcome measurement

Responsibilities

• Manage a cohesive, high-functioning team built on trust, respect, and inclusion
• Develop the Security Platform threat operations roadmap with Product leadership, Security Operations, Engineering, and other stakeholders
• Provide technical and managerial leadership to direct reports across security disciplines
• Identify risks, blockers, and operational gaps and bring solutions to leadership
• Ensure team members understand organizational goals and how their work supports them
• Coach, mentor, and manage the performance and professional development of researchers
• Model responsible AI use and set expectations for AI fluency across the team
• Build repeatable AI-enabled workflows that improve research quality, speed, and business outcomes
• Use AI to redesign and scale research workflows, establish quality and risk standards, and measure functional impact
