DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; hybrid/remote

Salary: $220,000–$230,000 annually

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
• Automate application builds, testing, security scanning, compliance checks, configuration validation, and deployments.
• Embed security testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Implement container and cloud security practices and support vulnerability remediation.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and secrets.
• Collaborate with developers, cybersecurity specialists, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required; ability to attain DEA suitability required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of infrastructure or cloud engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of DevSecOps or engineering experience.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, static and dynamic scanning tools, secrets management, and cloud security frameworks.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell and experience with Agile SDLC practices.

Nice to have

• AWS or Azure DevOps certification.
• CISSP certification.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification.
