What you will do

• Lead technical blockchain analysis and cryptocurrency tracing across Bitcoin, EVM, and DeFi platforms.
• Design and build investigative tools and analytic workflows to support seizure warrants and forensic audits.
• Analyze smart contracts, Solidity bytecode, and anonymity-enhancing technologies to identify illicit patterns.
• Conduct cyber target development and research on money-laundering typologies and ransomware actors.
• Produce high-confidence investigative reports and finished professional intelligence for courtroom use.
• Deliver formal training on blockchain technologies to government and cross-agency partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in blockchain engineering, crypto forensics, or digital-asset security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain analysis platforms like Chainalysis Reactor, TRM Labs, or CipherTrace.
• Proficiency in Solidity, EVM internals, and blockchain APIs.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for a TS/SCI clearance and DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) suitability.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Certifications: Chainalysis Reactor, TRM Forensics, CBP, or GIAC (Security+, GCIA, GCED).
• Experience in financial-services environments such as compliance, asset management, or banking operations.
