What you will do

• Serve as the primary operational contact for strategic tax partners to ensure high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
• Provide proactive technical guidance on API integrations, authentication, and consent flow protocols.
• Monitor KPIs and YoY performance insights to identify and address optimization opportunities.
• Manage and prioritize partner connectivity issues in collaboration with product and support teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and content for the tax partner portal.
• Represent partner needs and capability requests internally to influence product roadmaps.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical account management or a partner-facing technical role within the fintech industry.
• Must be located in or able to work from Mountain View or San Diego, California.
• Strong familiarity with US taxpayer forms, including W-2, 1099, and 1098.
• Proficiency in API flows, SQL querying, Tableau, and Splunk for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Fluency in RESTful APIs and authentication protocols such as OAuth and OIDC.
• Experience with payroll management systems and financial data standards (OFX, FDX, EFW2).
• Master's degree or ITIL certifications.
