What you will do

• Define and manage system and capability-level requirements with full end-to-end traceability.
• Conduct Operational Design Domain (ODD) and route analyses to shape driving capabilities.
• Design on-road and logical test scenarios to evaluate autonomy features and critical events.
• Manage the driving simulation portfolio to ensure comprehensive validation coverage.
• Analyze real-world and simulation results to identify performance trends and improvement areas.
• Lead engineering process continuous improvement activities across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• 6+ years of experience in automotive systems engineering (software, hardware, or combined).
• 3+ years of systems engineering experience specifically in autonomous driving or ADAS.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data analysis tools (Pandas, NumPy, Spark).
• Experience developing behavioral simulations for AV or ADAS features.
• Must be based in or able to work from Ann Arbor, MI.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
• Practical awareness of functional safety principles (ISO 26262, SOTIF, HARA).
