Fullstack Software Engineer (DoD)

TL;DR

Fullstack Software Engineer (DoD): Designing and building plug-ins, integrations, and collaboration features for Platform One environments with an accent on extending enterprise tools like Mattermost. Salary: $125,000 – $145,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain plug-ins, extensions, and integrations for enterprise collaboration tools such as Mattermost.
• Build web application front-ends and supporting services, integrating platforms with internal and third-party systems via APIs and webhooks.
• Write well-structured, documented, and testable code and participate in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate directly with teams to translate operational workflows into practical technical capabilities.
• Deploy updates and fixes through established CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to pass a security background check.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline plus 5+ years of technical experience.
• Proficiency in web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, JavaScript) and OOP languages (Go, Python, Java, or C#).
• Experience with database development (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and GitOps/Git version control.
• Experience working within an Agile SDLC environment (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, or SAFe).

Nice to have

• Experience developing Mattermost plug-ins or integrations for similar platforms (Slack, Teams).
• Experience with Platform One or other DoD software factories.
• Proficiency with Docker, AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda), and Kubernetes (CKA certification is a plus).
• Knowledge of IAM tools (Keycloak, Appgate, Okta) and scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell).
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and prior feature implementation.
