What you will do

• Own and evolve the architecture of high-throughput, low-latency services within the ad stack.
• Set technical direction and influence foundational decisions on how ad systems scale.
• Lead the resolution of complex issues, including real-time bidding bottlenecks and data synchronization drops.
• Partner with product owners to shape requirements, explain tradeoffs, and propose technical alternatives.
• Mentor developers and define standards for code review and documentation.
• Advise leadership on long-term technical strategy and data-handling frameworks.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience in the advertising domain: OpenRTB, Pre-bid, server-side/header bidding, and SSP/DSP partners.
• Expertise in bidstream enrichment, ad decisioning, and video/CTV delivery (including server-side ad insertion).
• Proven track record of building scalable data pipelines and real-time systems handling billions of requests.
• Ability to analyze unfamiliar architectures, identify systemic weaknesses, and simplify them.
• Strong programming and architecture fundamentals applicable across various stacks.
• Must be based in Latin America (LATAM).
