What you will do

• Design, build, test, and document core client-side networking software.
• Integrate established industry network protocols with hirify.global's specific designs and frameworks.
• Optimize the performance, reliability, and scale of software across various technical platforms and hardware.
• Provide expert consultation and resolve critical network escalations for key customer environments.
• Collaborate with product management to develop scalable network solutions ensuring a superior customer experience.
• Engage with the open-source community and contribute to relevant projects.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada
• Significant experience with networking software and diagnosing complex network issues.
• Comprehensive grasp of routing, VPNs, IP address management, and NAT traversal.
• Proficiency in Go or other low-level languages (e.g., C/C++, Rust) with strong concurrent programming skills.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and low-level OS network stacks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
