What you will do

• Design and conduct complex in vitro and ex vivo experiments with primary hematopoietic cells and cell lines.
• Interpret data systematically to synthesize conclusions that guide project decisions and new research activities.
• Identify and introduce emerging technologies to advance existing platforms and maintain a competitive advantage.
• Contribute to the preparation of patents and scientific publications.
• Present experimental conclusions at internal group, department, or project team meetings.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in molecular/cell biology, developmental biology, stem cell biology, or related fields (0-3 years post-doc experience).
• Alternative: Master's (3+ years experience) or Bachelor's (6+ years experience) in relevant disciplines.
• Hands-on experience working with primary human hematopoietic cells.
• Proven experience developing and running multicolor flow cytometry and cell-based functional assays.
• Experience with gene editing techniques.
• Must be able to work five days per week on-site in Boston, MA.
